Simple menu, wonderful food! I haven’t been here in years, stopped with my Son last week. Wow! The full sub Chesseburger was out of this world. It comes standard with Chilie, cheese, pickles, and mustard. I might be forgetting something? Anyhow, with that combo of flavors it tasted wonderful. Plus the price for a foot long, which is like two larger burgers is only $620, a real bargain. You can split it with a family members. The Fries were classic, fresh and tasted good but not as outstanding as the burger. My son has a milkshake, also very good. My only complaint is this is mostly a carryout wiht only maybe 8 seats inside at the counter, and some outside tables. I wish they’d add an indoor area.
An amazing place if you like delicious deep fried hotdogs, quick service and nothing is ever written down but they always get it right.
I started going to Ann’s over 30 years ago and it’s one of the few things that never changes. The prices have gone up a little but not enough to cover inflation. At peak hours the employees have like a dozen orders going at once so they’re not real chatty but don’t interpret that as being surly. I you’re new to the place and want to discuss the menu options do it with someone else in line. They’ve probably been there a hundred times.
Personally a double is too much for me. Half a double beats a single with a far superior meat to bun to condiment ratio. Add fries and a chocolate shake. The best $9 you can spend on food in the Baltimore area, Hon.
Anne’s Dari-Creme has been in business seemingly forever, which speak for itself. When the mall was built way back when they had to build around this place because locals came out in force to defend it. I live in Severn, just up the road, and have been here over 50 years. I’ve always enjoyed my food from Anne’s.
Ann’s has been serving up amazing Footlong Chili Dogs for decades! Foot long hot dogs, foot long double dogs, hamburger, cheeseburger, and steak subs, and fries. Then there are milkshakes and sundaes. That’s pretty much it. You call your order to the staff behind the counter, no one writes anything down, but in a few minutes, you order is ready … and they always seem to get it right! If you enjoy a Footlong Hot Dog with chili, mustard & onions (that their version of “the works”), you’re gonna like this place. No indoor seating during the COVID-19 DEM-panic, but there are lots of picnic tables outside.
I don’t live close, but I have been coming here as long as I can remember whenever I am in the neighborhood and hungry. It is a family tradition to stop in a grab a delicious fast bite. There is nothing healthy about it, but it sure does taste good. The staff are always amazing in how they call out and remember orders so precisely. Call out your order and then standby as the magic behind the counter plays out. If the weather is nice, grab a spot at a picnic table or bench. If the weather is not so nice, grab a spot at the counter if it is available, or just sit in your vehicle and dig in. Or take it home if you must. Better enjoyed hot! Of course, all meals pair well with a milkshake.
